
Hot Smoothie A Delicious Winter Breakfast Treat

Easy-Peasy Instructions
Get This: - 15 g of dark chocolate - 200 ml of milk (your choice what kind, although I highly recommend almond milk) - 20 g of rolled oats (they cook more easily) - 1/2 ripe banana - 6 almonds - 5 g of chia seeds (don't skip these, they're super healthy!) - 20 ml cold water Do This: 1.) Pour your milk into a glass measuring cup and add the pieces of broken chocolate. Next, microwave the cup until the chocolate has melted and the mixture is runny. 2.) Add your oats, banana, almonds, chia seeds and cold water into the blender. Then add your milk and chocolate mixture to the picture (poetry at its best) and turn that baby on! 3.) Keep that bender running on high until you've noticed that all the elements have been mixed in smoothly. 4.) You can heat your hot smoothie in the microwave if it's not hot enough for your liking. Just be careful not to pour anything too hot into your blender - not all blenders can handle the awesomeness of your hot smoothie!Spice It Up!
Alright, so not all of us are foodies, but if you're looking to get a gorgeous picture for your Instagram account, then try sprinkling some crushed oats over the top of the hot smoothie. If you're looking for a taste that will knock you out of the ballpark, try adding a dash of chili flakes. Trust me, you'll be skipping your morning caffeine hit after this! If it's just a little flavor add you're seeking, throw a teaspoon of cinnamon over the top.
