The restaurant’s owner and chef, kept in touch via email so that notifications can be sent to customers advising them of any changes or additions to the menu. Chef James Turner emailed this particular patron personally, to ask him to tell them in advance when he was coming in for a meal, so James could prepare the gumbo he craved. This sure beats having to wait ten to thirty minutes every time you waltz into a joint with an empty stomach!
