Dogs yawn for a number of reasons, mostly because of either nervousness or excitement… I think it is an easy bet to say that Roxy is letting out this huge yawn from excitement that she has this lovely smiley new mommy, Sarah Brown Carter.

Relaxed and Happy At Last

We absolutely just love this photo! And even more so when you know that the happy and relaxed looking dog in this photo is Rex who suffered from severe neck trauma from his previous owners misusing and overusing a shock collar on him. But that was all before he was adopted by Dan, and now just look at that grin!
