Headed to the cliffs
Albert's town was nestled between dense forests on one side and vast, open water on the other. Perched near a rugged cliff, the town lacked a sandy beach, replaced instead by towering rocks. It was toward these cliffs that the wolf seemed to be heading. Albert couldn't help but wonder why the wolf had ventured out of the forest at all—what had drawn it to the cliffs?

Sprinting away
As they approached the cliffs, the wolf suddenly broke into a run. Albert, however, was far too old to keep up. He pushed himself to walk as quickly as possible, but his pace was no match for the wolf’s speed. Before long, the wolf disappeared from sight, leaving Albert breathless and momentarily still. After catching his breath, he pressed on with renewed determination. He wasn’t about to give up that easily.
